Shimano Dura-Ace R9100 C40 Carbon Clincher 700c Quick Release Wheelset

The Dura Ace R9100 C40 clincher wheelset from Shimano designed to meet pro race criteria. The Dura Ace R9100 features a 40 mm deep rim with 24 mm width to improve aerodynamics, rigidity and inertia. Making the R9100 great for road sprinter and time trial riders. The rim also compatible with 700c tubular tyres.

The wheel is laced with 16 straight pull stainless steel spokes on to a wide spaced flanged hub giving great lateral stiffness. The labyrinth double sealed hubs keep moister and dirt out whilst the integrated Borazon steel races reduce rolling resistance. The hub body is made from cold forged aluminium with 7075 axle, with the wheel weight averaging 1485 grams.

The rear hub is compatible with 8 to 11 speed cassettes and the rear hub body is made from titanium to further reduce weight in the rear hub. Available in black supplied with quick release skewers. Average weight for wheelset 1485 grams.
