Luigi Girardi was the man who made Rossano Veneto the capital of the bicycle saddles when the Selle San Marco factory was opened 75 years ago. At a young age, the hardworking street sweeper lent 100 lira to set up his company in the trading of bicycle parts. Five years later, he set up the Selle San Marco factory with around 40 employees.
